June 9 - June 18 | June 19 - June 28 | June 29 - July 8 | July 9 - July 18

Personal Revival (June 9 - June 18)
These 10 days will focus on your personal relationship with Christ. Your power in prayer is dependent on the condition of your heart.

Day 1 - June 9
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts;
And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.
Ps. 139:23-24
Pray and invite the Lord to examine your heart, revealing anything that is sinful. He will bring your intents, motives and even attitudes into His light.

Day 2 - June 10
If I regard wickedness in my heart, The Lord will not hear. Ps. 66:18
Pray that God will reveal every sin that stands between you and Him. Confess and forsake each one.

Day 3 - June 11
Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; According to the greatness of Your compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash me thorougly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin for I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, I have sinned and done what is evil in Your sight so that You are justified when You speak and blameless when You judge. Ps. 51:1-4
Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Ps. 51:10

Pray that as Christians we will agree with God that each sin is against Him. Pray that the Holy Spirit will reveal each sin, so that when we confess (even publicly if necessary), our hearts will be washed and cleansed.

Day 4 - June 12
But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, "GOD IS OPPOSED TO THE PROUD, BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE." Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. James 4:6-10
Pray that as God's people we will humble ourselves, submit, and draw near to Him. His promise is that He will draw near to us. Pray and commit to seek the Lord in the secret place. Spend time in the Word and in prayer morning by morning.

Day 5 - June 13
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. II Cor. 10:3-5
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
And take the HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.
Eph. 6:10-18
Pray that your eyes will be opened to recognize there is a spiritual war. Put on the armor of God and take every thought captive. Ask the Lord to reveal any strongholds of sin that must be broken.

Day 6 - June 14
Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19
Pray and thank God that after repentance and cleansing comes forgiveness and the refreshing of His presence. Pray that your mind will be set on God's kingdom and not on the things of this world that will all pass away.

Day 7 - June 15
Whenever you fast, do not put on a gloomy face as the hypocrites do, for they neglect their appearance so that they will be noticed by men when they are fasting. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face so that your fasting will not be noticed by men, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. Matt. 6:16-18
Pray that as you fast and pray, giving up food or other things, that God will hear your cries and answer for His glory.

Day 8 - June 16
That, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth. Eph. 4:22-24
And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit. Eph. 5:18
Pray that your heart, mind and body will be set apart and purified. Pray that you will follow hard after God and all that is holy. Pray that you will be more like Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, and dead to the self-life.

Day 9 - June 17
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:1-2
Pray that you will live out God's will which is good, acceptable and perfect each day of your life instead of your own will. Pray that God will use your changed life to touch others.

Day 10 - June 18
Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:31
Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I. Send me!" Isaiah 6:8
And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong. II Cor. 12:9-10
Pray and thank the Lord as you wait on Him, His power is perfected in your weakness. Pray this prayer of commitment: "Here am I. Send me."

Local Church Renewal (June 19 - June 28)
These 10 days will focus on the church. Pray for your pastor, church staff and their families, church members, and your local community.

Day 11 - June 19
Even those I will bring to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples. Isaiah 56:7
Pray that your church will become a house of prayer for all the nations. Pray that we will be men and women of consistent and passionate prayer. Pray for your pastor.

Day 12 - June 20
Lord I have heard of Your fame, I stand in awe of Your deeds, renew them in our day, in our time, make them known. Habakkuk 3:2 (NIV)
Pray that the Lord will renew and revive His work in the church. Pray for an outpouring of His Spirit until the body of Christ is awakened, renewed, revived and refreshed. Pray for your pastor's family.

Day 13 - June 21
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Pro. 29:18
Pray for your church and pastor to grasp the very vision of God and see that vision fulfilled to reach the community for Christ. Pray to believe and expect God to do greater things than He has ever done.

Day 14 - June 22
Is this not the fast which I choose, to loosen the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free and break every yoke? Isaiah 58:6
Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. "For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst. Matt. 18:19-20
Pray that as we seek God in prayer and fasting for our chruch that we will be cleansed by the washing of the water of the Word until we are the body of Christ without spot or wrinkle. May our prayers of agreement usher in His kingdom and His will. Pray for leaders, deacons, and teachers in your church.

Day 15 - June 23
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you. Eph. 4:31-32
Pray that as members of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ we will give to others what He has given us: love, mercy, kindness, and forgiveness. Pray that the lost in communities surrounding the church will see Jesus in us and be saved.

Day 16 - June 24
Until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love. Eph. 4:13-16
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. I John 4:11
Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart. I Peter 1:22
Pray that each member will grow up in Christ to maturity, walking in unity and in love. Pray that every leader, pastor, and member will be baptized in this great love of God equipping them to love others the way Jesus loves them.

Day 17 - June 25
Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering. Matt 5:23-24
Pray for reconciliation between brothers, sisters, families, and church members. Pray that this reconciliation will turn the hearts of the lost in our neighborhoods to Christ.

Day 18 - June 26
But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. John 4:23-24
Pray that the hour will come in your church when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. Pray that we worship the living God from pure hearts. Pray that this atmosphere will draw the lost to our churches.

Day 19 - June 27
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:1-3
Pray that these verses will be a reality in the church...eyes fixed on Jesus...running the race with endurance...not growing weary or losing heart.

Day 20 - June 28
Will You not Yourself revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Ps. 85:6
Pray that God Himself will give His people, His church, revival according to our desperate need and according to His great mercy that we may greatly rejoice in Him. Pray, praise and thank Him that this will result in multitudes of lost in our communities turning to Christ.

Revival Services (June 29 - July 8)
These 10 days will focus on the desire for the moving of God during our revival services. Pray for those who will speak, and those who will lead in worship. Pray that the Lord will open the ears and hearts of the lost in order for them to hear and respond to the gospel.

Day 21 - June 29
Sow with a view to righteousness, Reap in accordance with kindness; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD until He comes to rain righteousness on you. Hosea 10:12
Pray that the hardness and coldness of our hearts will be softened by the Spirit and the Word. Pray for each one to repent and turn from sin. Pray for a spirit of repentance for each one attending the revival.

Day 22 - June 30
Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves. Phil. 2:2-3
Pray that God's will for the church will be accomplished--be of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Pray that God might touch humble hearts bringing them to this place.

Day 23 - July 1
And He said to him, 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' Matt. 22:37-39
Pray that in these critical times our church will be known for loving God with all our hearts and loving others. Pray that this love will be rekindled between church members.

Day 24 - July 2
The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me. John 17:22-23
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. John 13:34-35
Pray that we will so love each other and be one that the world will believe that Jesus loves them and died for them. Pray that this love will prevail as we pursue God with all of our hearts. Pray that this will be evident in our meetings. Pray for each speaker at the revival as they pray and prepare for God to anoint them with His message for the hour.

Day 25 - July 3
And My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
II Chron. 7:14
Pray that we will confess pride, humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from sin so God can do all He has planned to do. Pray that jealousy, self-promotion, and men's agendas will be exposed, repented of, and turned away from. Pray that each member will humbly put their face to the ground to hear from God.

Day 26 - July 4
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:12-14
Pray that God will draw the hearts of people to be devoted to prayer as the greater work. Pray that we will see God bringing great glory to Himself through the ministry of prayer in our church, and at home in our prayer closets.

Day 27 - July 5
Through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:2
And hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:5
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and will the more as you see the day drawing near. Hebrews 10:23-25
Pray that in these desperate times, the people around us will see hope in our lives because God's love pours out from us. Pray that as the body of Christ, we will encourage each other to love and do good deeds.

Day 28 - July 6
When I heard these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for days; and I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven. I said, "I beseech You, O LORD God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who preserves the covenant and loving kindness for those who love Him and keep His commandments, let Your ear now be attentive and Your eyes open to hear the prayer of Your servant which I am praying before You now, day and night, on behalf of the sons of Israel Your servants, confessing the sins of the sons of Israel which we have sinned against You; I and my father's house have sinned. Nehemiah 1:4-6
Pray that as we fast and pray we will be like Nehemiah who wept and mourned day and night, confessing the sins of the people of God. Pray that God is moved by the prayers of HIs children and answers speedily.

Day 29 - July 7
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! Ps. 133:1
Pray this for all brothers and sisters in the church...to dwell together in unity. This is good and pleasant in God's eyes. Pray that the response to God's Word will bring about such unity.

Day 30 - July 8
Just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her, so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless. Ephesians 5:25-27
Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created. Revelation 4:11
Pray that God's purpose for us, His church revived and restored, resembles Him...holy and blameless. Pray that our church will bring glory to Him who is worhty. Pray that the revival, from the first word to the last, will honor the Lord and change lives.

Great Commission Resurgence (July 9- July 18)
These 10 days will focus on our commitment to the Great Commission of our Lord. The primary reason for First Baptist Church, Bevil Oaks is the fulfillment of this command. Pray for our eyes to be opened and our hearts to be challenged with the gravity of this commitment. May the desire to reach the lost burn like never before in the hearts of our church members. Pray for wisdom and vision that we might reach this world with the good news of the Gospel.

Day 31 - July 9
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. Eph. 3:20-21
Pray this prayer for every member of our church...that we will each allow the power of the Holy Spirit to work through us to reach our communities, our nation and the whole world, that God might be greatly honored and glorified. Pray that this same power of the Spirit will direct every meeting at the church to God's glory.

Day 32 - July 10
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16
Pray for God's forgiveness for every time we have been ashamed of the gospel by not being bold to proclaim His Name in missed opportunities. Pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to anoint us with boldness. Pray for every leader to lead with humilty, with wisdom, and with the mind of Christ.

Day 33 - July 11
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20
Pray that we will take seriously God's commission to us to go and make disciples of all nations. Pray that each one will personally receive the call and go. Pray that many will be saved as the body of Christ shares His love.

Day 34 - July 12
Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36
Pray that we will see the lost as Jesus did...with great compassion. Pray to be faithful workers as the harvest is plentiful. Pray for workers to be sent out. Pray that those who attend the church will show and proclaim the love of Jesus with His compassion.

Day 35 - July 13
He says, "It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations so that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth." Isaiah 49:6
For thus says the high and exalted One who lives forever, whose name is Holy, "I dwell on a high and holy place, and also with the contrite and lowly of spirit in order to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite." Isaiah 57:15
Pray that as we humble ourselves in prayer and fasting God will make us a light to the nations that His salvation may reach to the ends of the earth. Pray specifically for every member to be empowered by the Spirit to speak the Word of God.

Day 36 - July 14
And the master said to the slave, 'Go out into the highways and along the hedges, and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled. Luke 14:23
What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!' I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:4-7
Pray that our burden will be so great for the lost that we will go into the highways and the hedges and compel them to come to Jesus. Pray that there will be an on-going chorus of praise in heaven over the multitudes who repent. Pray that if any person who attends the church is lost that the Spirit will remove the blindness and the light of the glory of God will shine into their hearts unto salvation.

Day 37 - July 15
For "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED." How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, "HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!" Romans 10:13-15
Pray fervently that we will sacrifice to go and send others that all may hear the gospel. May our entire church be known for having beautiful feet because we have brought the good news to the world. Pray for an increase in the number of missionaries who are called. Pray for God's abundant provision to send those called. Pray for each decision that is made to be pleasing to God.

Day 38 - July 16
All that generation also were gathered to their fathers; and there arose another generation after them who did not know the LORD, nor yet the work which He had done for Israel. Judges 2:10
Pray that God will open our eyes to see this present generation of precious souls that do not know Him. Pray that our hearts will be broken over these because God's heart is broken. Pray for the Spirit to reveal effective ways to reach this generation.

Day 39 - July 17
We will not conceal them from their children, but tell to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength and His wondrous works that He has done. For He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers that they should teach them to their children, that the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, that they may arise and tell them to their children, that they should put their confidence in God and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments. Ps. 78:4-7
Pray for our hearts to be burdened to teach our own children and the children in our neighborhoods so that future generations will come to know God. Pray for every member of our church to be found faithful in going and giving.

Day 40 - July 18
Saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing." And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, "To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever." And the four living creatures kept saying, "Amen" and the elders fell down and worshiped. Revelations 5:12-14
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life and who is adequate for these things? II Cor. 2:14-16
Pray that as we meet together, God Himself will be the center of our attention. Pray that He will receive the blessing, honor and glory due His Name. Pray that Christ will lead us in triumph and that we will be a fragrance of Christ to all we meet. Pray that everything done and said will glorify the Father. Pray that not one person attending will go home the same. Pray that each heart will be set on fire with passion and power of the Lord. Pray this fire will ignite other churches. Pray that this will explode into a revival that touches our world. Pray that millions will be saved as a result of this fire of the Spirit of the living God.
